Who controls the data

Each garage is the controller of its own customer, vehicle and job records. WorkshopCore processes that data on the garage's behalf and keeps every garage's data separate.

What we store

Account details for garage staff; customer names, contact details and communication preferences; vehicle, booking, job, inspection, invoice and payment records. We never store card numbers — card payments are handled by our payment provider.

Reminders and marketing

Customers can switch MOT, service, email and SMS reminders on or off at any time from their portal or by asking their garage. Marketing messages are only sent with consent.

Your rights

You can ask your garage for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it. Garages can export their data at any time from Settings.

Cookies

WorkshopCore only uses essential storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so no consent banner is required.
